Not-So Manic Monday
This almost never happens, which is why those rare occasions deserve documenting!
Teenagers is by My Chemical Romance and just makes me totally laugh when I hear it. This was, I believe, the first time I’d heard it so it made the day that much brighter for the early a.m. amusement. Having lived with one of those goth-wannabe kids (my stepson, who was really a sweetheart but you wouldn’t guess it from his over-baggy black clothes, died hair and German metal blasting…) I guess I just find it that much funnier. Go figure.

Wow, if I woke up at 5:45, I’d be surly, no matter what song was playing.

5:48?? I can’t even get up out of bed unless it’s 7:00. Even then I stay in bed and watch the first 15 minutes of the Today show to get caught up on news.
I love all the details you have in the background. That must be very tedious. And by the way, nice use of bubbles in the third panel.

Well, see, usually I’m lucky if I crawl out of bed, groggy and surly, by 7 and rush through a shower only to eat breakfast at my desk (certainly no working on comics in the mornings) after rolling in about 5 or so minutes after 8. Thankfully I live close to work
