On me and the things I’m working on in relation to the comic.
First of all, if comments on Thursday’s or Friday’s comics aren’t approved lickety split it’s because I’m sans access for most of that time. The very short version of the story is that I’m having my gall bladder out on Thursday and won’t be home from the hospital ’til sometime Friday. But I plan on setting up the laptop desk next to the bed so I can check in between naps and so forth once I’m home.
Which brings me to: Next week’s comics. They are in progress and I’m not really forseeing getting them done on time, depending on that whole sitting up thing that might be a smidgen uncomfortable for the next week or so. With that said, if anyone is just itching to do a guest strip I’d be ever so happy to share it with the rest of the readers, here 🙂 Submissions can be sent to randomactscomics[at]gmail[dot]com
Thankfully I should be pretty much healed in time to head to Dragon*Con on the 29th where, among other things, talks may be had about the Year 1 book (which is still slowly plodding along). My new goal is to have it printed by the end of the year with the end of November being even better. Gotta work on the action plan for that, no?
And, finally, looking forward to September! Next month is going to follow a single theme (which I’m going to wait to announce, of course, just know it’s something cool) for the comic itself and I’m hoping there will be a cool new feature starting early in the month. Also in September there will be some fun blog content of a more regular fashion (weekly, I’m thinking, something to brighten up Tuesdays).
